Itinerary

Day 1North America - Beijing

Embark on an overnight flight to Beijing.

Day 2Arrive in Beijing

Upon arrival at Beijing Airport, you will be greeted by a tour representative and transferred to your hotel where check-in commences from 3:00pm. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3Beijing

Begin your day with an unforgettable journey through Beijing’s rich history. Start at Tiananmen Square, one of the world’s largest public squares and a symbol of China’s national pride. Just steps away, explore the awe-inspiring Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 15th century. Once the imperial palace of China’s emperors for over 500 years, its grand halls and intricate courtyards offer a fascinating glimpse into the country’s imperial past.
Next, head to the Panda House inside the Beijing Zoo, a specially designed habitat dedicated to panda conservation. Watch these beloved animals up close and learn about efforts to protect this national treasure. You’ll also have free time to enjoy lunch at one of the zoo’s many food outlets and explore more of the zoo’s diverse wildlife.

Optional Experience: Hutong Pedicab Tour with Lunch — US $69 per person 

Step back in time with a traditional pedicab ride through Beijing’s 700-year-old Hutongs—narrow alleyways that reveal the city’s authentic charm. Visit a local family in a traditional courtyard home and enjoy a home-cooked lunch as part of this cultural immersion. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to the Panda House to join the rest of the group. 

 

Day 4Beijing

This morning, journey through the picturesque countryside to one of the world’s most iconic landmarks—the Great Wall of China. Stretching across majestic mountain ridges, the Wall’s ancient watchtowers and impressive stonework tell stories of centuries past. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch on-site, giving you more time to take in the incredible views and explore at your own pace. Continue your adventure with a visit to a Jade Museum, where skilled artisans transform this treasured gemstone into intricate works of art. With a history spanning over 4,000 years, jade is deeply woven into Chinese culture—symbolizing not only beauty and wealth, but also the virtues of courage, wisdom, and compassion.
Later this afternoon, return to your hotel. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, with dinner at your own expense, available at the hotel or nearby eateries.

Day 5Beijing - Xi'an

This morning, transfer to Beijing Railway Station to board your high-speed Bullet Train to Xi’an. Sit back and enjoy a thrilling 4-hour journey through China’s diverse landscapes aboard one of the world’s fastest and most efficient rail systems. 

Please remember to pack a small day bag, as access to your main luggage will be limited during the ride from your second-class seat. Snacks and meals are available for purchase on board via the dining car or food trolley, or you may prefer to pre-purchase snacks or lunch at the station before departure.

Upon arrival in Xi’an, head toward the city center, passing by historic landmarks such as the ancient City Wall and the iconic Bell and Drum Tower Square.
Visit the Gao Family Courtyard, a beautifully preserved Ming Dynasty residence with over 500 years of history. Step back in time as you explore its traditional architecture and antique furnishings. Enjoy an enchanting performance of traditional Shadow Puppetry, a treasured Chinese folk art。
Next, visit a Chinese Calligraphy Studio where you can learn the art of Chinese calligraphy and painting. Children will have the opportunity to try writing Chinese characters with their own hands, experiencing this ancient art form firsthand. The day concludes with a special group dinner, featuring local delicacies, vibrant entertainment, and warm hospitality.

Day 6Xi'an

Step into the pages of history with a visit to Xi’an’s legendary Terracotta Warriors and Horses, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China’s “Big Three” iconic landmarks. Marvel at the thousands of life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots—each uniquely detailed—standing in eternal formation to guard the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. This awe-inspiring 2,000-year-old archaeological site offers a powerful glimpse into China’s ancient past.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch, followed by a visit to the Terracotta Replication Factory, where you’ll gain deeper insight into the craftsmanship behind these extraordinary figures. You and your children can even try your hand at creating your own small terracotta figurines, offering a fun and interactive way to connect with Chinese culture through play.
This afternoon, return to your hotel and enjoy free time to unwind at your leisure.Tonight, you may join the optional visit to the Grand Tang Everbright City – US $69 per person. It is a 2,100-meter-long pedestrian mall in Xi’an. The design theme is inspired by Tang Dynasty, You may try on a Tang Dynasty costume, the traditional attire of the Chinese people to immerse yourself in the vibrant nightlife in the Tang Dynasty.

Day 7Xi'an - Suzhou

This morning, transfer to Xi’an Railway Station to board your high-speed Bullet Train to Suzhou, a scenic 5-hour journey. As with your previous train ride, be sure to pack a day bag, as access to your main luggage will be limited. A variety of food and drinks will be available for purchase onboard.
Upon arrival in Suzhou, step into a world of classical beauty with a visit to the Lingering Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This exquisite example of traditional Chinese garden design features elegant pavilions, serene ponds, and intricate rockeries, showcasing the refined artistry of ancient China.

Optional Experience: Suzhou Grand Canal Cruise — US $50 per person 
Glide along Suzhou’s historic canals on a peaceful boat ride, passing by centuries-old houses, graceful bridges, and temples from the Ming and Qing dynasties. A picturesque way to experience the city’s timeless charm. 

Day 8Suzhou - Shanghai

Suzhou is world-famous for its premium silk, and China remains the largest silk producer globally. Today, visit a Silk Spinning Factory to witness the intricate process of transforming silkworm cocoons into luxurious silk. See firsthand how the delicate threads are woven, and feel the incredibly lightweight handmade silk quilts—truly as soft as a feather.
Then, travel in comfort by deluxe coach to Shanghai, a dynamic city that dazzles with its futuristic skyline, lively streets, and captivating blend of Eastern tradition and Western flair.
Upon arrival, take a stroll along The Bund, Shanghai’s iconic waterfront promenade offering panoramic views of the Huangpu River and the modern Pudong skyline. Continue to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, one of the world’s busiest shopping avenues—ideal for picking up last-minute gifts or souvenirs. Day 9Shanghai

Begin your day at the Shanghai Museum, a treasure trove of ancient artifacts and artistic masterpieces that offers a fascinating journey through China’s rich cultural heritage.
Next, head to Xintiandi Commercial Street, a lively pedestrian area known for its unique blend of historic Shikumen architecture and modern flair. Take time to explore the boutique shops and enjoy lunch at one of the many cafés or restaurants.
In the afternoon, visit Chenghuang Miao (City God Temple), a revered Taoist temple surrounded by the bustling Yuyuan Bazaar, where you’ll find traditional crafts, street snacks, and souvenirs in a vibrant setting.

Optional Experience: Huangpu River Cruise — US $60 per person 
In the evening, opt for a scenic Huangpu River Cruise, where you’ll glide past Shanghai’s glittering skyline and take in the striking contrast between the colonial-era Bund and the futuristic skyscrapers of Pudong. If you choose not to join the cruise, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for a relaxing evening at your leisure. Guests participating in the cruise will return to the hotel around 8:30 PM.

Day 10Shanghai

Optional Experience: Full-Day Shanghai Disneyland Adventure — USD $199 per person
(Includes park ticket and round-trip transfers)
Get ready for a day of pure enchantment at Shanghai Disneyland, the newest and most spectacular Disney park in the world! Opened in 2016, this magical wonderland features immersive lands like Fantasyland, Treasure Cove, Tomorrowland, and Toy Story Land, each filled with thrilling rides, dazzling shows, and beloved Disney characters.
You’ll be transferred to Shanghai Disneyland and dropped off near the main entrance around 9:00 AM. This optional experience is self-guided, giving you the freedom to explore the park at your own pace. Your Tour Leader will not accompany you inside, so you can design your perfect Disney day.

Important Note: At approximately 6:00 PM, you’ll regroup at a designated pickup point outside the entrance for your return transfer to the hotel. Please be aware that due to heavy traffic and park crowding, the pickup time and location are strictly enforced. The coach cannot wait for late arrivals, so it’s essential to be on time.
Want to stay longer to soak in the magic until the park closes around 9:00 PM? You’re welcome to do so—but you’ll need to make your own way back to the hotel at your own expense. Be sure to notify your Tour Leader in advance if you plan to skip the group transfer.
